In the cold night last Friday the 2809 Movement organized in Montevideo a dinner to recognize and honor the first champions of the Copa Libertadores. Invited to attend the event we had the great privilege of sharing a few hours with the heroes we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the epic, first of all, reaffirm by this way thanks to all who allowed us to be present.
The event came Carlos Borges (first goal scorer in the history of the competition), Nestor "Tito" Goncalves (accompanied also by his son George), our countryman Oscar Leicht, Luis Maidment, Mario Grieco, Dante Cocito (Kinesiólogo team), Luis Latorre (Leader), besides the son of Juan Eduardo Hoberg and the son and grandson of Alberto Pedro Spencer. We are investigating whether THIS BOY has a representative. In an environment
